Earthquake Occurs Near Georgia's State Border

A 3.5-magnitude earthquake has occurred near Dagestan, the North Caucasus region, 5 kilometers away from Georgia's state border. 

The Institute of Earth Sciences and National Seismic Monitoring Center says the earthquake was reported on April 20, at 16:53 Tbilisi time.

No damage from the quake has been reported.
