New Deputy Interior Minister Appointed

Ioseb Chelidze, the former Chief of General Inspection of the State Security Service of Georgia, has been appointed as a new Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, the Interior Ministry reported on Friday. He replaces Natia Mezvrishvili.

Georgia has five deputy interior ministers: Kakhaber Sabanadze (first deputy), Nino Javakhadze, Levan Kakava, Vladimer Bortsvadze and Ioseb Chelidze.
