Tbilisi to Host Italian-Georgian Business Forum

On July 4, the Italian-Georgian Business Forum will take place at the hotel "Holiday Inn”. The Forum will be focused on the fields of strategic importance for Georgia's development, such as infrastructure, construction and engineering fields, as well as energy and urban development.

Business Forum is yet another excellent opportunity for strengthening cooperation in the private sector, promoting the existence of Italian companies in the Georgian market and strengthening economic links between Italy and Georgia.

The Italian participants of the Forum are as follows: Italy's Foreign Trade Promotion Agency (ITA-ICE), SACE-SIMEST (State Organization for Insurance and Financial Services for Internationalization of Business), Engineering, Architectural and Technical-Economic Consulting Organizations Association (OICE), National Institute of Construction Companies Association (ANCE), Electronic and Electrical companies National Federation (ANIE) and up to 30 leading Italian companies.

The event will be opened by the Vice Premier of Georgia, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maia Tskitishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Nikoloz Alavidze and Italian Ambassador to Georgia Antonio Bartoli.

The program of the event includes: presentations of major international financial institutions and Georgian entrepreneurial associations and state agencies, more than 200 meetings  in "B2B" format, signing the Memorandum of Understanding between OICE and Georgia’s Consultant Engineers Association (ACEG) and signing the Memorandum of Understanding between HIS Consulting and Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA).

The organizers of the Business Forum are as follows: from Italian side - Italian Embassy and  Italy's Foreign Trade Promotion Agency (ITA-ICE), from Georgian side - Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, “Enterprise Georgia’’, and Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
