Print version Print version

Author:  By Mariam Sikharulidze

Poland, in an effort to promote itself as an attractive foreign investment destination, will launch a new brand strategy together with the Polish Ministry of Economy and a consortium of businesses including Ageron International Consultancy, Ageron International S.L. as well as country branding experts Bloom Consulting.

The launching ceremony was held in Warsaw on September 30 and was attended by Polish Minister of Economy Waldemar Pawlak, Ageron Partner Michael Zielinski and Bloom Consulting founder and CEO Jose Filipe Torres.

“The venture to develop the Polish economy and Poland abroad by conducting research on foreign entrepreneurs’ perceptions would be beneficial, building the conclusion that; human capital is the most valuable element of the Polish economy,” Michal Zielinski of Ageron said.

Ageron is an international market research company with offices in Spain, China and Poland, specializing in international consultancy, while Bloom Consulting is a very successful strategy consulting firm founded in 2003 in Madrid. It focuses primarily on country branding and was ranked as among the top 3 country branding experts worldwide by the Economist and Forbes Magazine.

This had been done very successfully in Estonia 20 years ago - a best practise example to copy. According to the experience of Estonia’s freedom hero Tunne Kelam, for Libya this means:

- radical reforms from the beginning

- quick privatization

- a national debt limited to the minimum

- a strong new currency best coupled to the euro-zone.

A reform team should analyse and copy the best practices from Eastern Europe.
