All for One and All For Love – Interview with Georgian Host of Bryan Adams
Last Friday, Rike was by far the most crowded place in Tbilisi as Georgians finally got a chance to witness some great music and outstanding performance. One of the biggest rock stars of the 90’s, Bryan Adams, held a free concert in the heart of the capital aiming to aid the victims of war.

IDPs at school #96 complain about the lack of food and normal living conditions however the humanitarian aids are continuing
The humanitarian assistance in the form of construction materials were taken in six trucks to Gori, Zugdidi and Poti, all towns were buildings in need of repair following the war. The company London House gave provided this aid to the local government of these cities which will distribute the materials to those families in dire need of this kind of assistance.

The First Team of EU Observers Arrives in Georgia.
28 EU observers arrived to Georgia from Italy on September 23, at 4 p.m. Half an hour after the other plane carrying technical equipment will land in the Tbilisi Airport, French Embassy in Georgia said in a statement.

Heavy rain leaves the victims and serious harvest damage in Georgia
Heavy rain over the last three days has left eight people dead, including five who died in a landslide in Adjara. According to preliminary estimates, the rain has destroyed 70% of the grape harvest as well.

Georgian Policeman Killed, Several Injured in Khurcha
One Georgian policeman was killed and three others were injured on September 21, after a Georgian police checkpoint came under fire in the village of Khurcha located near the Abkhazia, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

European Parliamentarians visit Gori
Nine European parliamentarians in a fact-finding mission visited Georgia on September 19-20 to assess the state of IDPs, evaluate the health infrastructure needs of the country and conduct research about the reproductive health (RH) among the IDPs, particularly with a focus on RH services in the aftermath of the recent armed conflict in Georgia. The members of the delegation include parliamentarians from Belgium, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany and Sweden.

Russia - Authoritarian at Home and Aggressive Abroad

The Maestro vs the Communication Commission Part 2
The next court proceeding of Studio Maestro against the Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) was held on September 17 in the Tbilisi municipal courts. Mamuka Glonti, the founder and the director of the studio and popular public figure didn’t attend the proceeding due to an illness.

President's address receives opposing response
Today David Usupashvili, a leader in the Georgian Republican Party, responded to President Mikhail Saakashvili’s September 16’s address to the country. Usupashvili stated that Saakashvil's comments about the need for democracy is good, however he added that those initiatives are not being implemented with Georgia's true realities in mind.

New numbers of lives claimed
The war between Georgia and Russia have claimed the lives of a total of 370 persons on the Georgian side, officially claimed the Georgian Minister of Health and the Georgian Minister of Defense on September 15.
